Saddle Mountain Elementary staff and students are hoping to make Thanksgiving a little bit brighter for several families in our community. During the dates of November 8th through the 19th SME has challenged staff and students to give back and participate in our annual canned food drive. Up to date, over 533 items have been collected! It has truly been exciting to see the mass of food growing in the display case in the entrance hallway, where students, parents and staff can see what they have given will be helping others in the community. The last day for collecting canned items is set for Friday the 19th and families will be contacted early next week to pick up their boxed meal, just in time for the holiday!
