blue ribbon for WCC

The Wahluke Community Coalition was selected as a Blue Ribbon Coalition by CADCA, Community of Anti Drug Coalitions of America and will be presenting at the CADCA Forum Ideas Fair in Washington D.C.  The National CADCA website has been updated with the Blue Ribbon Coalition announcement indicating the winners.

You can view it here: https://www.cadca.org/campaigns/blue-ribbon-coalitions-2021-got-outcomes. The Blue Ribbon Coalition credential is part of a new program that recognizes high performing coalitions .

The rigorous process to determine these coalitions is the newly designed Got Outcomes! Awards program of which Wahluke was selected in 2021.

WCC has elected to send Lino Sanchez, the New Community Coordinator and Erika and Adrian Erazo, parents, volunteers and Strengthening Families facilitators to the CADCA forum January 31st -February 4.

Erika and Adrian have been instrumental in moving coalition work forward in our area, committing their time and effort in supporting events, teaching families and advocating for a drug free community.  Adrian is the parent sector leader and Erika is the president of the coalition.

WSD is so pleased with their determination and commitment to our local families and want to share our excitement to go to CADCA and present how we were successful in reducing youth alcohol use by involving parents and families in coalition work.
